We Got Safer!!!!!!!!!!

At 05:30EST the Flovilla Fire Dept in Flovilla GA got its confirmation letter from SAFER to hire 1 firefighter and incentives for recuirtment and retention.

The list has not been posted on the AFG SAFER grant website yet.

This is GREAT!
Forgive me for being so jubilant! We have been wanting to hire a fulltime firefighter for several years but did not have the finances.
I would like to thank Kurt, Brian, Alana, and several others and the forum section for their help!

Our SAFER was announced today also !!! $84,000 for recruitment and retention.

Thanks to Brian, we're 2 for 2 this year, first year we've ever gotten grants.

Congrats to all the other winners and everyone else, hang in there !!! I too was a doubter before this year.

Yea we are 2 for 2 also, or 3 for 3 AFG, Hiring, and Recuritment and Retention! Like I said in previous posts if it was not for all the help of the gurus here I know we would not have gotten any.
