I am looking to make some changes to our guidelines for conducting our Physical Performance Evaluation(PPE) on potential FF recruits. This is similar to the CPAT. I would like to make changes specifically in the area of weather parameters, but can't find any research or statistical data that's leads me in any particular direction. Does anyone know of any information pertaining to pros and/or cons for conducting the test during winter or summer months; ie. is there a certain temperature you shouldn't go below (45F) or above (95F) due to adverse reactions of the candidates bodies? I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks.
