Default The Esperanza Five- Moving slide shows...

Wow, pretty moving. If you've ever been to a Firefighter's funeral, you could relate. I didnt get to go to this one. (Probably for the better) But I see a lot of familiar uniforms and patchs.

Here are the links to the slide shows. They might be around FH.com too.

Piage with the side shows. (Middle, left) http://www.pe.com/#pop

Also- Here is an online guestbook you can read and sign. Please check it out. There are even some guys ther from FDNY.

Brett.. a firefighter's funeral is something that most on the outside cannot understand. There is a bond that transcends cultures, languages, time zones and the oceans.

I, like you, have been to far too many funerals and memorial services in my 25 years on the job. Each one of them is an emotionally moving event.
‎"The education of a firefighter and the continued education of a firefighter is what makes "real" firefighters. Continuous skill development is the core of progressive firefighting. We learn by doing and doing it again and again, both on the training ground and the fireground."

I never want to go to another one again, that's for sure.
