    Thumbs up Fayetteville, NC

Here's a link from FireNews.net that has some old pictures of Fayetteville, NC firehouses. There is also a list at the bottom of the page of other departments they have photos of.

"Chicago Firehouses" 4 volume set, very detailed info about every CFD fire house ever used, whether they are still in existance or not. Loaded with pictures. Pretty expensive though (about $40 per book.) PM me if you want the contact info for the guy who wrote and sells them. They also detail what kind of rig was used by the company through the years, Carter Harrison and Lambert Tree awards (CFD medals for heroism) won by members from the house, lodd's from the house, etc. Very good books, if you are into that sort of thing.

Pics and details about Engine 38/Truck 48's new house at 16th and Pulaski. Click on the photo and there are many more to look at. Plus plans for a few other new houses built on the same plan (which is a very uncomfortable house, in my opinion.)

Nowhere to hide, no soul (which is funny since it's on the west side! ) uncomfortable furniture. I hate the new houses. Nice kitchens though.

The house i'm out of was built in 1904, That picture is fairly old there is now a large store behind it. Over the past few years the house has fallen into disrepair because there is no money going in to repairs and a new house is in the works. Unfortunately the new house is more than likely going to be a metal building with no character

here is our Main house it was built in 1928 and is also in the works to be replaced
