O.K. folks - I need some help.
It seems the "powers that be" here at my paying gig (a.k.a. office job) want to put all new extinguishers on our floor. I thought that was downright spiffy until I found out they ordered all Halotron Units.
Info. this is a 24 Hour office environment (i.e. someone is here around the clock) including a small kitchen (pretty much a residential type - non commercial). Cube-ville office space with 1 Laptop/Desktop per cube, A control center with large desks having 3-5 computers and 10-14 monitors each. 3 Extra large display walls (super huge monitors) and 2 separate computer / telecommunications rooms complete with Uninterpretable Power Supply (UPS) systems (Battery Banks). Also included are the usual assortment of office type files & other "ordinary combustibles"
Now I agree that with the large amount of electronic equipment (and the critical nature of some of the mainframe & telecom equipment) that some Halotron is a good thing. I am however not thrilled that (from what little I know) these are not rated for Class A use.
If I am wrong in my thinking or understanding of Halotron please let me know - otherwise please help me find some information / literature that I can use to help educate these folks that keeping a couple of these Dry Chem units we already have is a good idea.
Thanks in advance.

Disregard - I found the info I needed online. Halotron IS actualy Class A rated at 11 Lbs and larger extinguisher sizes. (Althought I'm still not entirely thrilled about having all Halotron cans).
