I heard from a friend of mine who works there, they have completed thair testing the first group and are all set with 12-13, they might be starting another group in the spring for next 5-6 if you were in their top 26 you probaly will hear something then!

It looks like they will start the January academy with 12. They have had a few folks on the list drop so if you are on the list you most likely moved up.

There is talk that they may do a July academy with an as yet undetermined number of canidates. I've heard that they would notify folks about July in April but who knows?

Their numbers have changed a lot throughout the process. They were originally hiring 21. They have the funding and a lot of folks are retiring so I'm a bit surprised at some of the changes.

They are approved to build 2 more stations and a training center so you would think that they would be hiring more than 12 for 2007 but who knows.

Where is everyone on the list? Any news is always appreciated.

North Metro called today and are updating their list for a September 2007 academy.

It looks like the original list of 26 has seen quite a shake up.

Anyone have any more info? Any idea on how many they are looking to hire?

I'd like to hear from anyone else out there.

Looks like North Metro is starting an October Academy with 8 medics and 4 basics. They're interviewing 5 basics from the original list for the 4 positions.

I'd be interested in hearing from anyone else still involved in the process.
