Our battn. had a fire recently where after the meter was pulled by the utility company, members saw Greenfield flexible metal conduit glowing red hot. Afterward it looked like there was a short caused by an improperly installed porch light fixture, and that all of the Greenfield, junction boxes, outlets, and light fixtures were energized, because of char behind the the boxes in otherwise clean areas. Could the meter can or weather head have a fault that would allow this? I need Mr. Wizard!
