The Fremont Fire Department will be conducting a test for firefighter in the near future. Check with the Fire Department Business Office at 419-332-4131 (M-F, 8-4) or City Hall at 419-334-5900 as to when sign-up for testing will begin. Projected to start sign-up is February or March. The test is civil service, physical agility (pass/fail), followed by written exam (70% or higher), top ten scores are interviewed for each open position. There will be one immediate open firefighter position. Starting salary is in the mid-$30's.

Fire training is a plus, but not required.
