My condolences to the Hays family, the Merion Fire Company, and the Narberth Fire Company of Pennsylvania. FireFighter Thomas Hays, 25, a 7 year veteran of the Merion Fire Company, died Friday December 8, 2006. Thomas had responded to an alarm late Thursday evening; after not responding to 2 subsequent alarms, his brother firefighters checked on him and discovered he had died from an epileptic seizure in his sleep.
