Hurst tools rehab?

Anyone know of a company that rehabs/repairs Older Hurst tools? Our Cutters need new blades and hoses, and the spreaders need new hoses. Any idea where to look?

I would stay away from that recommendation about 5 alarm. We've had problems with them in northern Illinois in terms of sales inparticular, but service also. Our sales guy is notorious for telling us anything you want to hear, lie or not, just to get a sale. Everybody knows his game, except for him; probably why so many people are going with a differnt brand when its time to buy new tools. As far as service, we operate with a set of Hurst purchased in the mid-90's. We had a problem with the blade on our cutter. The service rep they sent out told me the tool was obsolete and we'd have to just buy a brand new cutter. We sent it out for to another dealer in Indiana for repair and we had it back up and running in 2 days- no problems at all. Looks like they were just trying to sell us a $5000 cutter instead of a simple $600 set of blades...I'd be VERY leary working with them.

what cutter is it? i am very familiar with your sales rep problem. my dept is having problems with our 5 alarm rep as well. see if you can get the wisconsin or indiana service tech in there instead of that illlinois guy (not many like him). be careful sending your tools to the place in which you did. 5 alarm is the ONLY Hurst dealer / service allowed in the state of indiana. (trust me i know my dad works for them)
