Default This is just another one of those test threads

I haven't been able to start a thread in so long I just thought I might give it a try again.

You can only start a new thread with the word "test" in it.

This way nobody can start anything meaningful.

And it should get the following in 2 days.

    A. At least 4 pages long.

    B. Go off topic rapidly.

    C. Include one bust up about PPE or Voli / Full Time.

Anything less is a Failed Test.

Did I mention that I'm not getting email notifications on my thread subscriptions?

I knew it had to be too good to be true. At least there's some progress.

    Default You're not confused

What you need to do is start a "Sheep Control and Movement Sector". Then make sure you fill out Form ICS 2552, submit it to the proper division who will make sure that the proper branch also reviews it and is then returned with such approvals.

Alternative is to have "leg of Lamb" for dinner.

She did NOT have two coats on, they all get shorn once a year if they need it or not.

There is a HUGE difference between "shearing sheep" and "sharing sheep". One of them is just down right hard work, and the other can get you 10 years and some.

10 hours on a shearing gang is enough to convince you that BEER can save lives. It is hard, hot, dusty, and plain hard work that will leave a person of average fitness feeling like dying just to escape the pain.

Just ask me, I made the bloody silly mistake a few years back of offering to help one of the locals who was short for 5 days.

Never, ever, not never again, not for a split second, in my life will I be that Bass Ackward Shtupid. I found muscles I never new existed, and they ALL HURT at once.

and I have not able to post new threads either, rather than attempt to start a new test thread, I will just post here.

"to experience OnStar, press your blue button"

what will I experience if I press my red button?

It has been a bloody long week. I think it is Wednesday, I am pretty sure it is still december. Apart from that, My sanity is long gone.

Have you noticed at the bottom a new feature that says similar threads to this one? These are all similar threads to this one.

and guess what else? Spell check has been added. You can undo what you did, redo it. do it backwards, forwards, post a link on how to do it or....

    press your blue button.

Haven't you ever busted your gut at a fire?
    Yup.

Busted my guts bigger doing hard yards in the military.

Been more knackered after 80 minutes of senior level Rugby than a good fire.

It didn't touch the sides on the level of hurt from a days shearing, and there were only 4 more to go.

Day 1, knew I was going to die.

Day 3, Dead people are supposed to smell bad, oh wait, I do.

Day 5, Couldn't work out why I wasn't decomposing already.

I'm in on this too.... can't make new threads

    "Page Not Found." GGGRRRRRRRR

    --------
Well that worked. Tried to put this as a new thread on the main page....

This came in through my home email:

The City of Fairfax Fire Department currently has 9 Firefighter/EMT (BLS) and 4 Fire Medic (ALS) vacancies. Qualified applicants must have FFII, EMT B (fire medic applicants require EMT I or P), EVOC and HazMat Operations. The next entrance test will be held January 6, 2007. To view both position descriptions, salary and benefits, go here: http://www.fairfaxva.gov/personnel/Jobs.asp

Interested applicants should complete the City of Fairfax employment application, and submit along with copies of prerequisite certifications. Questions can be directed to 703-385-7940.

I helped shear some sheep when I was a little kid. Because my Dad was afraid of them. Grampie and a bunch of his firefighters were shearing and they had me sit on the sheep's heads. LOL! It worked cause all the sheep were sheared and Grammie had her wool!

On a side note....I am having my first beer in over a year. Sam Adams Old Fezziwig Ale. I love Old Fez! I need to drink lots more beer. I'm losing weight superfast! Had my son and was 192 lbs. Weighed myself a month ago and was 157 lbs. which is where I like to be. Now I weigh 140 lbs. which is heading down to the dreaded thirties!
