A leather helmet..rather pricy, but a great gift idea....

Maybe because I've see so much of it, and have so much of it, I would say avoid anything fire related. I have so much fire stuff around the house there hardly is room for anything else. Fire statues, collectibles, blankets, clocks, trinkets, etc. Maybe it's jsut me but I have enough of that stuff.
I would suggest to get something that has meaning between the two of you. Who knows, maybe it would be cool to get something like that too.
Or.......a six pack and blowjob!

He'll probably want to eat when he gets home from work, and after that have some dinner. Why not surprise him when he walks through the door, by finding you dressed only in fire line tape? Its sure to get him hot and leave you wet. Apart from that, vowing to finish english 8 , will sure to please him.

This being a family paper,I won't comment on Dickey's idea.
I'd suggest simply asking him what he might want or need in the way of personal gear.It doesn't have to be pricey, either.
For example,he might think a bail out rope would be a great idea and they are easy to get on your own.Just go to a hardware store that carries tube webbing, get a 20 foot or so length of it and tie the ends together to make a loop.
Hope this helps.

Good Idea ! Nothing says 'I love you honey',like a bail out rope ? Every valentines day my buddy complains about his wifes gift- a pair of socks and a piece of tail - both to big.

THank you all for the wonderful ideas, espically the beer and fire line tape. Next question. Is thier any other place besides TheFireStore.com to get a st. Florian necklace or his own set of irons?
Thanks again!

Do a Google search for "St. Florian Maltese Cross pendant" and you will get a ton of hits.
I also like thw idea of a St. Florian pendant/necklace. I wear a gold St. Florian necklace that my mom bought as a gift for me. This is the one I have: http://www.ourdesigns.com/product.jsp?path=-1|5159|5129|6522&id=1976
I also have a big St. Florian tattoo on my right arm as well.

Why am I not surprised that the guy with the Pee Wee avatar had that comment!
His own set of irons? If you go that route, make sure you get something like a Pro-Bar and not some two piece halligan like they sell in some of those pricey Fire/EMS catalogs.Tom

You can get a St. Florian pendant from pretty much any jewelry store, they have catalogs with several different types of pendants/necklaces, etc. Can also engrave to say what you want on back.
