    Default Rugby finally makes sense.

    Rugby FINALLY makes sense..........

A guy took his blonde American girlfriend to her first Rugby game. They had great seats right behind his team's bench.

After the game, he asked her how she liked the experience. "Oh, I really liked it," she replied, "especially the tight pants and all the big muscles, but I just couldn't understand why they were killing each other over 25 cents."

Dumbfounded, the Kiwi asked, "What do you mean?"

She said "Well, they flipped a coin, one team got it and then for the rest of the game, all they kept screaming was: 'Get the quarterback! Get the quarterback!' I'm like...Helloooooo? It's only 25 cents!!!!

    Rugby is Football.

Here it is Rugby, as in Rugby Football.

Football (or Soccer) is thought of as a girly game played where the objective is to kick the ball into a net and recieve as many hugs and kisses as possible from the other players.

NOT a blokes game at all

NO That would be a game the Australians play on an oval pitch.

Mainly because none of them can run in a straight line in a given direction without getting confused.

Rugby. Think of the All Blacks, Jonah Lomu etc, and there you are.

There again, one might prefer to think Wallaby.

Are you following the Six Nations?

I do believe that is the rule. I briefly attended my school's rugby games to help attend to the injured. They depleted my supplies in two games...

    Still exciting to watch.

    6 Nations? Nah.

We kicked off the Super 15 at the weekend.

Also on Friday and Saturday was the World Sevens tournament from the Wellington Stadium.

15 provincial teams from New Zealand, Australia and South Africa competing against each other.

    Amazing first round carnage.

An excellent weekend spent across town (1 1/2 hour drive) in the country watching rugby and drinking BEER.

He has a projector for an amazingly high definition 8 foot wide screen.

STUNNING with the surround sound going and the nearest neighbour 1/2 a mile away.

Ah, then the sun set, the kiddies were asleep at the other end of the house, while the parents looked at the stars with Pink Floyd seranading us LOUDLY.

    Rugby at its very best.

I only played during high school. Wasnt that great at it, but I always enjoyed playing. About my only good game quality was the ability to run faster than most. But then when ya only weigh about 120 lbs against an average of 150.... yep, ya learn to run REAL fast. LOL

During their last tour of New Zealand, the English Rugby team caused a Haz-Mat incident during their first practice session at Eden Park in Auckland.

The Chief Fire Officer calmed every one down when he explained...

As Tim Wilson says'If you can't get your nose broke at it,dammit it ain't a sport. It's a game."
From what I've seen of women's rugby, that is a true definition. And you do NOT want to get involved in a discussion of the latest foul with them.BTDT Hated it.

    Speaking of which, who won the Daytona 24hr last weekend? I only caught the opening of it, but noted that in addition to the "expected" NASCAR guys, I saw a few names that I know from F1 racing. {ok maybe it wasnt this PAST weekend... }
