My question is simple can an older dragger, high pressure with the old masks that has 5 rubber pull straps be replaced with a new mask with the mesh instead or will that not work?

It will work just fine as we did the same thing a few years back prior to switching to MSA. It just sucks that you have Dreager's

Draegar does make retrofit kits for the panorama nova and futura masks that use the mesh instead of the rubber. Just call your rep for a sample.
We have retrofitted all of ours and they work great.Last edited by mcaldwell; 02-05-2007 at 11:08 PM.
Never argue with an Idiot. They drag you down to their level, and then beat you with experience!

Just because it's called a throw bag, doesn't mean you throw the whole bag... you're supposed to hold onto the rope.

SCBA's are like helmets...everyone like a different type. As long as they get the job done, that is all that counts. I liked Draeger..they don't cut into your shoulders and the tank stays centered, which is nice when pulling ceilings etc. We use Scott now, I had MSA as a volly...didn't care for it.
