Hi I just came across this site while looking for a forum on firefighting. I was looking for information on the ISG K1000 Elite Thermal imaging Camera. We have had ours for a little over two years now. It worked fine the first year but we now have cannot keep batteries charged for it. We use it quite frequently and rotate the batteries as well. Anyone else have this camera model and problem as well?
ISG's website is www.isgfire.com. In general, rechargable batteries do not last forever. In fact, 2-3 years is the normal lifespan. There are articles on TI maintenance, including battery info, at www.thermalimager.com and in the Technology section here on Firehouse.com.Quote:

Most TI manufacturers warranty components of a TI for 3 to 12 months. Find out if your batteries are still under warranty and if so, demand new ones.Quote:
