I am in MIchigan and unfourtunatly have another funeral on Monday in Detroit for a fallen brother, if someone can send me the information I will make all attempts to get there.
It is the least we can due to show support for our fallen.
I'm am/was classmates with FPA (Firefighter/Paramedic Apprinetice) Rachel Wilson, class 19. this has not been confirmed (will be by at our morning line-up Monday) but her wake should be Thursday and the funeral will be Friday of this week. i will past on confirmed details by 1900 hrs Monday.
My condolences to the Wilson family and the Baltimore City Fire Department of Maryland. Fire Recruit Rachael Wilson, 29, a Baltimore City Fire Recruit expected to graduate in March, died Friday February 9, 2007. Rachael was extinguishing a blaze during a live fire exercise in a vacant 3-story rowhouse when she collapsed. She was transported to Maryland Shock Trauma Center where she died shortly after. Two other recruits were injured in the fire and were treated and released from Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. I have created a permanent memorial for Rachael on my website.
