Hi everyone, I just got accepted into our community college Fire Academy here in KC. I am not in great shape by any stretch on the imagination, but I've been working out for a coupla weeks now. I also went to the local library and got a couple of books on basic firefighting principles. I'm waiting to hear back from some local depts on volunteering. I've got until August to prepare. What else can I do to help me prepare for the Academy?
