Default Quick Attack for 07 ?

Sanborn Fire & Rescue is preparing for go for a attack vehicle for the 07 grant. We recieved a grant for a much needed tanker in 06. Our average age of our fleet is still 22 years old with the new 07. At this time we do not have a quick attack vehicle or any thing like it. Would it be better to try for the equipment to build one or go for the full truck ? And if so,any idea's,help or successful departments that have recieved a grant for an attack truck?
    Thanks
    Sanborn Fire & Rescue
    Jeff

Our department is also looking for a quick attack. We want to replace a '77 Dodge from state forestry and a '78 1ton Rescue. We want to have a dual purpose vehicle that can eliminate the other two. I have seen other's grants but they seem to be big trucks. We only want a chassis simular to a Ford F-550 or a 2500 series Chevrolet. Any ideas on our best route?

I got a nice quick attack/mini-pumper for a department in Wa state this year. Contact me and I'll share it with you.

    Red face Request to LVFD301

Your response to me was that you/your dept helped the Wirth Fire Dept "a few years back" to obtain breathing gear and that you are also located in AR.
If you could, please contact me at muth1146@aim.com. I would greatly appreciate this. Thanks....Melody
