Can anyone tell me if there are any firefighting books around?I'm looking to learn more about the job.Not strictly about handling fires and rescues but procedures, equipment, the rigs, etc.I'm particularly interested in New York fire departments and L.A.
Any advice on the manuals please bear in mind I'm in England.
If you have any firehouse stories or can tell me about daily life as a firefighter, the mundane stuff as well as the best bits,I'd be happy to hear from anyone, anywhere about it!
