hi, I am a explorer and i am listing to my department get toned out to a refrigerator leaking freon (sp?). I am curious as to what the dangers are and what you would do if you were called out on this.

? Unplug refridgerator ? I think the big threat might be from the oil in the refridgerant making a mess, and possibly spraying on a hot fan motor, or hot compressor motor..
