    Fire Chief Recovering From Accident

A Johnson County fire chief is recovering after an accident Wednesday afternoon.

County officials say Oil Springs Fire Chief Wade Cantrell was responding to an accident on Route 40 at Barrents Creek when he lost control of the fire engine and flipped. Officials tell us Cantrell wasn't hut badly, but was taken to an area hospital.

One woman in the accident Cantrell was responding to was flown out to a nearby hospital as well.
