    Default Code 3 Collectables

    Anyone collect these?

I am hooked on the 1/32 scale Diamond Plate Series Engines... now can I afford FDNY Truck 10? haha

I recently got the Skywalker Ranch engine and just bought FDNY Engine 21.

The attention to detail is amazing!

I've got enough that if I sold them all, I could probably pay cash for my wedding...just don't tell the fiance!!

In all honesty, I've lost count as to how many I have, although I think it's around 200, including the diamond plate editions.

I dont have any code 3 but I have the old Tonka Fire Department toy trucks. An areal and a pumper. Pretty good condition too.

They are not a fancy but still cool.

Ive got a couple dozen. Most have been gifts. The only ones I bought were the Backdraft E-17 and the Emergency E-51 (Ward not Crown). The only reason I bought thoese is I cut my teeth on a '74 Ward and they bring back good times.

Im thinking about buying one of the fireboats. Id love to have some of the NASA stuff as Im a big time Apollo program junkie, but its quite expensive.

I have a collection of about 25 Code 3 right now. I haven't bought any in awhile though. My favorites are the "Emergency!" set. I can't afford the 1/32 scale but my department gives either a 1/32 Code 3 or Franklin Mint truck as part of our Firefighter Of The Year award.
What I really liked about C3 when I first started to buy them was not only their attention to detail, but the fact they came in the clear cases. I live in a very dusty area and it really helps!

I have a pretty good collection myself. My favorites are the Backdraft trucks, and FDNY Engine 10.
