Yesterday a plane crashed in Indonesia. On board and now missing were 2 Australian Federal Police officers. They were to provide security for Australian diplomats arriving on a later flight.
As I walked past the AFP headquarters in Canberra this afternoon a car pulled up and out got a very well dressed lady in AFP uniform. She had chaplain on her uniform. I assume she has had a very difficult last 24 hours.
Should I say anything? - I said nothing but recognise the pain she is suffering. It takes a very special person to do this job.

Sometimes the look you give in your eyes and the nod of a head in recognition of what she was doing and going through can speak far more than words can say and nothing said verbally is best.
