Hey Ya'll- 2008 will mark 75 years since the Pickens Fire Department was organized. I am just crazy enough to try and get as many fire departments as I can from around this great State of South Carolina to come here next Summer for an Inspection Parade. Anniversaries and traditions are an important part of life and especially in the Fire Service. I would like to hear any ideas and thoughts on how to pull this off. Your apparatus of choice and as many members you could reasonably spare would be a good start. Something old or restored would be cool too. (OK, that could include your Chief).
