I keep a set at the firehouse and a set in my vehicle. The set in my vehicle never gets used because I generally don't like to use a half tank of gas responding to the scene.

Well the career staff has space for their own gear but they are taking things over and soon this station will be sold to the county. My volunteer department is selling our Station #2 and the remaining volunteers from this station have been "welcomed" to come to and ride at Station #1.

So my gear will remain in the car and go with me to wherever I go and to what ever volunteer station I can find.

So then why were they taking over your spot? Doesn't make sense. I think your better off keeping your stuff on yah now like you said.

here,my relatives are volunteer firefighters so their turnout gears are at the station,in their lockers.

it is forbidden in France to go on call with your POV.you have to go to the station, and "jump" into a firetruck to go on call.

    Default gear

Kept in POV. The (sub) station I respond out of is rarely occupied, and we breed a pretty good crop of brown recluse and black widow spiders.
