Have to give the credit to Rick from Platte SD for finding it first, but the FP 1199As are up on some apps. Don't know if it's all of them or just the 1st wave, but they are there.
Congrats to Rick and everyone else in the FP Dough.![]()

Just when you thought that it was safe to go back into watching the basketball games without running to the computer and logging on every 15 minutes.

Woo hooo
After 6 attempts at AFG and FP&S we finally got our first 1199a request!
$60,000 for a smoke/CO detector program.
Some of the advice we got from Kurt was a big help.

We also currently belong to the "nothing yet" club, but ever vigilant to checking.

How many rounds of FP awards do they usually do?

Less than 10 normally since some of the big organizations snag a good hunk for research projects. Might be 2 rounds of 1199As, usually 1 round of denials. Not enough apps to drag it out, but who knows what DHS will decide to do.

Got our 8 questions too. My Chief called and he is trying to get all the signatures on the 1199 today before he goes out of town for his anniversary.
good thing his wife is a firefighter (in a different department) because she says they are already late leaving town, but she understands.

Having never received a FP grant before will the 1099A show up on the last AFG 1099A we received in 2004, or will be attached to the FG grant?
