Police Outraged Over Dog's Beheading. 17-Year-Old Girl Looking For Dog Since Last Month

    POSTED: 2:40 pm EDT March 15, 2007
    UPDATED: 3:06 pm EDT March 15, 2007

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- A Minnesota teen unwrapped a box that was left on her doorstep -- and found it contained the severed head of her missing dog.

Police in St. Paul said homicide detectives are investigating because of what they describe as an "implied" terrorist threat.

Seventeen-year-old Crystal Brown had been looking for the dog since it wandered away last month. She had visited the animal shelter, put up "missing" posters and gone door to door looking for the Australian shepherd mix before the gift-wrapped box turned up on her doorstep two weeks ago.

"This was so cruel," Brown told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "This is one sick, twisted person."

Brown's grandmother said the teen "was just hysterical" when she opened it.

"This was extraordinarily heinous," Dale Bartlett, the Humane Society's deputy manager for animal cruelty issues, told the newspaper. "I deal with hundreds and hundreds of cruelty cases each year. When I read about this case, it took my breath away. It's horrible."

The Humane Society of the United States announced Wednesday that it was offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call St. Paul police at 651-266-5659.

St. Paul police Sgt. Jim Gray told the newspaper that investigators believe the case is an isolated incident and that the person who committed the crime knows the family. "We don't know what the motive would be," Gray said. "It's a terrible thing to do to someone's pet."

This girl is very likely in danger herself, as this guy (probably guy) is a very sick puppy (no pun intended).

But my current candidate for the worst is that piece of human ***** who stabbed a knife to the hilt into his infant son's back and then threw him out a car window. That sick f@ck who buried that poor girl alive in Florida is right there as well (may his execution be swiftly carried out and his soul rot in hell)

How about carrying it out on Pay-per-View and beat the ratings for when they chained Regis Philbin and Kathy Lee Gifford to a cement mixer and pushed it off the Goldent Gate Bridge?
Think about it.People will say it's gory and sick to televise executions despite the fact that hangings were public events complete with barkers and concessions, but if someone knows that people will see them die for their crime and actually pay for it,they might not think raping and killing is such a wise thing to do.
As to a child murderer and rapist,I think all sex offenders should be given several different IQ tests before their trial and then after they are released and go back to their old ways as if nothing happened, they can't sit in court coloring everytime a camera is pointed their way.

Ahhhh, situations like this ( these) make you long for a time when the first words you heard after a Guilty verdict were " I got the rope"

Actually I was thinking more along the lines of something someone once said of an army tribunal.... "Sgt at Arms! March the guilty $astard in."

I'm sure the same animal rights people who want that polar bear in Germany killed to avoid "contaiminating" it with human contact would want the same thing.
I couldn't be liberal.I can't keep track of half the things that they hold dear because most of them seem to contradict each other.

    Default Hang em' high

I believe that the "old west" approach would also help with the national deficit. How many years do these bastards sit there on our tax dollar watching tv or lifting weights all day?

End the trial with that most famous of lines "what we got here is a failure to communicate" and take em' straight out back!

Did anyone ever see the Jeffrey Dahmer interview? He showed no remorse and at the pointed to a box and said it reminded him of the ones he kept heads in. I would like to send his fellow inmate who took him out a thank you card.

Police: Woman Offers 7-Year-Old For Sex
Child Brought To Hotel Room, Police Say

    POSTED: 9:07 am EDT April 2, 2007

TAYLOR, Mich. -- A Michigan woman's five children are in protective custody after she was charged with offering to let an undercover investigator have sex with her 7-year-old daughter.

The 33-year-old woman was arrested Friday after bringing the girl to a hotel room in Romulus, near the Detroit airport. The Wayne County Sheriff's Department said the woman arrived at the hotel with adult sex toys in a duffel bag and different dresses for the girl to wear.

Police said the woman was prepared to offer her daughter "for pornographic photos and anything else that was available if the price was right."

The woman's name is not being released so the child won't be identified. Investigators were trying to determine if her other children are victims of illegal sexual activity as well.

She was being held on $1 million bond and faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

The case drew widespread media attention. The television show "America's Most Wanted" posted the case on its Web site, and donations pushed a $2,500 reward offered by the Humane Society of the United States to $20,000.
I'm glad they caught this scumbag, and I hope he gets what he deserves (see my above post). As a dog owner I'm also glade to see how much they were able to get as reward.

The one question I have is do you think they reward would have been the same if it wasn't a girl's pet involved?
