    Default mounting equipment

im trying to find a way to mount some traffic vests in the cab of my engine. i had planned on using velcro strips mounted to the door. the strips im looking for are about 1.5 inches wide. anybody know a place to get these cheap? or any other ideas to mount the vests so they are readily accessible?

Why do you want to "mount" them?? Just place them behind the seats or on a shelf in the cab.

If you must mount them and want to get some hook and loop stuff, go to a fabric store where the ladies go to buy material, they have them. A hobby shop or a home improvement place like Lowes or Home Depot also sells the stuff

Wrap it around the seat or toss it behind the seat. That way it can be tossed on very quickly.

You could always go in there and beg for them.

Check the home improvements places I said.

we have ours stored in pvc tubes that are mounted under or behind the seats. i think they are about 6" in diameter and about a foot or foot and a half long.

Supply Captain has 1" and 2" wide strips for $2-$4 a foot. Personally I'd just hang them on the seat back. I read an article somewhere, where they just kept the vests on their turnout gear and only removed them for fires.
