Flood Safety Awareness Week - March 19-23, 2007


Flooding is a coast to coast threat to the United States and its territories in all months of the year. National Flood Safety Awareness Week is intended to highlight some of the many ways floods can occur, the hazards associated with floods, and what you can do to save life and property.

Dive Rescue International has several "Flood" and "Swiftwater" training programs scheduled and are activly searching for agencies who will "host" these training programs in their community. By hosting DRI programs, a number of host agency personnel can attend the the training at "no charge."
