Well, this makes number 1000 and I wasn't sure if I would get there. I have only until the end of the month before I retire and take some time off for me to get my head together before my next life.
It has been a pleasure, most of the time, knowing and chatting with everyone here. I'll still be here until the 30th of this month posting but I just wanted to say that I wish all of you the best and stay safe.![]()

Well get you head straight (is that even possible for anyone in this business??) and enjoy your retirement but don't be a stranger around here - just because you're retired doesn't mean you don't still have knowledge and expertise to share.
Best of luck to you in your "next life".Take Care - Stay Safe - God Bless

Congratulations on the retirement Bro. I tried that 4 years ago untill the local vollie department asked me to come and take over training and it has been fun. I still take the time to fish. And as others said do not stay away keep coming back knowledge is a great thing to pass around and share.

LV- You can hang up the turnout coat, but not this place. Please stick around and share some of that "Class 1" knowledge with us!

Thanks for the kind words Bros. My first order of business is a prospecting for gold trip for a few days and then back to the house where the wife says she has this book called,"Honey Do's" written by herself. Has anybody else seen that book before? LOL.
In the venerable words of the great Arnold,"I'll be back".

Congrats LV and like others have said, DONT BE A STRANGER!
Just because it's called a throw bag, doesn't mean you throw the whole bag... you're supposed to hold onto the rope.

I will begoing to the GPAA/LDMA claim at Stanton Arizona for the first trip. My regular haunts for dredging are just off the LaPort road East of Quincy, CA on a creek called Nelson. Its a nice area in Plumas County.
