Number 1000 and retiring

Well, this makes number 1000 and I wasn't sure if I would get there. I have only until the end of the month before I retire and take some time off for me to get my head together before my next life.

It has been a pleasure, most of the time, knowing and chatting with everyone here. I'll still be here until the 30th of this month posting but I just wanted to say that I wish all of you the best and stay safe.

Well get you head straight (is that even possible for anyone in this business??) and enjoy your retirement but don't be a stranger around here - just because you're retired doesn't mean you don't still have knowledge and expertise to share.

Congratulations on the retirement Bro. I tried that 4 years ago untill the local vollie department asked me to come and take over training and it has been fun. I still take the time to fish. And as others said do not stay away keep coming back knowledge is a great thing to pass around and share.

Thanks for the kind words Bros. My first order of business is a prospecting for gold trip for a few days and then back to the house where the wife says she has this book called,"Honey Do's" written by herself. Has anybody else seen that book before? LOL.

That book you speak of , at my house it is a work in progress...Usually starts with "Oh Yeah!..."

Stay away from "Tom Massey" He'll get you killed!

Where are you going to prospect? Mariposa still has a lot of open claims. Good luck and congrats on the retirement.

I will begoing to the GPAA/LDMA claim at Stanton Arizona for the first trip. My regular haunts for dredging are just off the LaPort road East of Quincy, CA on a creek called Nelson. Its a nice area in Plumas County.

Yes,it's what a former President would call "a living breathing document"because a wife will think up additions to that book faster than you can work off the old ones.
