Default New lady on the block

Hello there. I am from Jamestown Tennessee. My husband and I volunteer at the East Jamestown Fire Dept. in Fentress county.

My husband has been there for 5 years and has had extensive training.

I work in the capacity of "Rehab". I am the woman they love to see on calls because they know the drinks and snacks are finally here. As well as making sure the board is being ran and bringing the fellows out of structural fires and sending others in.

I also tend to duties at the station such as cleaning, stocking, and helping with logs, computer programs etc.

Unfortunately I have not been able to get a womes auxillary started here because the other wives are just not interested. Which seems very sad to me.

But that does not keep me from being with my fellow brothers and helping in any way I can.

Nice to meet all of you and I hope to have some good discussions here.
