Default Does your FD count exercise as training hours?

I am curious as to how many FD's actually count exercies as training hours. If not do you think that it would help get more in shape? Is it an honor system or does it only count if you exercise at the station? How does it work in your FD? And so on....
I'm not saying it should replace the hours for our regular training, but in addition to the regular training.

My department does count documented and submitted exercise time as training hours. Most of our firefighters who are inclined to exercise don't bother with recorsing it - they just work out.

FWIW, our ISO evaluator stated that documented physical training hours would now count toward fire training hours at 50% credit (2 hours exercise is worth 1 hour training at ISO time).

a ship in a harbor is safe. . . but that's not what ships are for
