    As I type this message, I'm watching the Bassmaster's Elite Series from Clear Lake, California. Current leader is a Career Fire Captain, who's name I missed. In my area, (Chesapeake Bay) a number of Firefighters, including my cousin, are Charter Boat owner/operators. I fish, usually in Freshwater, for Bass, Catfish, and almost anything else.

    Camloops and steelheads are staging in the river mouths of lake superior. Water needs warm up a little though, Good catch going on in the Brule, Nw Wis. Lakes lots of browns, and steeles that wintered in the river, lakes are still frozen so it will be a while for crappies and blue gills. I am waiting for Muskie season to open. But I will have to fish Pike till then. Season opens may 5th.
