    Default driver training program

Hi everyone, i am looking for a little help with our 2006 afg grant. We were awarded a brush truck and are trying to upgrade our driver training program to be NFPA compliant. Does anyone know were I can find an example of a program that is NFPA compliant? Any help would be great. Thanks.

You might check with your insurance company. They may already have something in place.

Also, there is another posting on here somewhere about the drivers training program and that Minnesota has a good example listed on their website. The forum gremlins are reeking havoc on me today and I can't search for anything.

We use the VFIS program. I know they have a website. This drivers program is used in local fire academies too.

VFIS insurance has a good program, as well as many state training programs. We have a three part program that includes classroom, drivers course and on the road training, and wrapped up with a drivers simulator that we share with law enforcement.
