Default Where would you go first?

Just a hypathetical question...You pull up to a major accident with severely injured victims in both cars. Each pt has the same exact injury. You notice a Fire department windshield sticker on one of the vehicles involved...So which car do you go to first????

The answer ought to be obvious.

The car with the prettiest girl in it, of course.

Hypathetical question: a question that is pathetic.

Answer: split the crew and treat both!

the reason I ask is because I know someone who was in a wreck that had a fire sticker on her car...She said that they took care of her long before the other, while asking who the firefighter was and even calling him to let him know...So with that said...

I'm with Gonz. 4 guys on my crew, 2 and 2 without question. Of course the crew treating the one with the FD sticker would ask who the FF is, and probably would contact him if possible, and/or necessary. We take care of our own here, but that doesn't mean the other person would suffer at all because of it.

How would you know the extent of the injuries if you haven't been to both vehicles already. I think you mean "Which car would you give priority to?" With that said, I would have to say this is a loaded question.

Call me partial but I would go to the firefighters car first we usualy have 4 so all would get equal treatment. But i would find out who the FF is and try to personaly work him/her.

    Default Age before beauty

I like the pretty girl idea myself :-), but, if I couldn't split the crew in half, then it would be the younger one first. If they're the same age, then the one that's closest to my truck.

Sorry, at a serious accident, I don't really notice things like stickers on cars.

Dose sound like a loaded question.

The pts should get the same kind treatment no matter what kind of stickers are on the car.

gotta agree with gonz on this one, now if you are by yourself you should be looking at both(all) pts. so crews coming in know what they are working with

I agree if its a serious MVA I'm not looking for any type of stickers unless its a possible hazmat scene, otherwise I'm surveying the damage etc....you know the drill. As far as giving special treatment to someone because they have a FF sticker in the window thats crazy, maybe after everyone was appropriately triaged and I happened to notice the sticker I'd find out some info from the patient but as far as right away hell no..
