I'm going more for the Yankees/O's game, though...

We usually go and take a hands on class. We didn't go last year and the last year we went our class we were in ended up having the city fd respond. But it was a excellent class.

So maybe it's early but looking at the website shows a whopping 8 hands on training choices? That's kind of lame.

Harve, the only snow on the ground up here is the stuff that's been piled up in parking lots. And they are going down sloooooowly....

Tried to buy some Yankees vs. Orioles tickets for that weekend. Appears to be soldout already (at least for anyone trying to get 4 tickets).

Smokey, did you try to order directly through Firehouse? They mentioned that the game was sold out, but they have a block of tickets that are available to attendees after you register.

NO and hmmmm.....Can I get 4 tickets with only one person (me) signing up? The other 3 tickets are for family members who probably have no desire to pay to go to the Expo in order to get a ticket. Thanks for the info.

The order form just says Quantity:____ x $15.00 It does not specify a limit of tickets.

I'll be there. Been going since it first started as a flea market back in the 80's. It's a good time and a good place to learn . Even if you don't take a hands on class or sit in on a seminar you can still learn something new and different from talking to other FF's from other states and countries while having a few at the bar.

    Default firehouse expo

My self and one other on my firefighters is going to the expo for the first time. We are so excited. We are from a small rural fire dept with only a $3,800 budget and little training so we are going to be taking alot of the classes all three days. We have a big question?? Do we have to sign up for the classes anywhere? IS there limited seating? Are they all in the same building? And any other information you can offer will help us alot thanks?

I do believe you can sign up once you are at the convention center. As far as the seating goes I don't believe there is "limited" seating. I've been in some classes that are packed but not packed enough to have people leave. Hope this helps.
