If someone with multiple personalities threatens to kill himself, is it considered a hostage situation?

HAPPY EASTER, everyone!
Hope you all find spiritual fulfillment, a lot of chocolate bunnies, or the freedom to lounge around and watch the Masters, whichever one you may be looking for.

Oh, and of course, everyone please STAY SAFE this long holiday weekend, be it while working or on the roads with your families.September 11th - Never Forget

Hope everyone had a nice quite Easter yesterday, aside of kids yelling and running around I mean.

Spent the day running two calls. First was a multi-car, multi-location MVA on the Beltway. Three separate incidents, with about 3/4 of a mile spread between all three. No injuries, no treatment no transport - went home.
Well "home" being standby coverage for 413. The second call isnt even worth mentioning.
GREAT ham roast dinner from "Lucky" 13 though! Roast ham, scalloped potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn bread and string beans. Was nice to not have to cook for once! LOLIf you don't do it RIGHT today, when will you have time to do it over? (Hall of Fame basketball player/coach John Wooden)

"The education of a firefighter and the continued education of a firefighter is what makes "real" firefighters. Continuous skill development is the core of progressive firefighting. We learn by doing and doing it again and again, both on the training ground and the fireground."
