Can anyone tell me how to get into Fire Investigations in NJ?

I know there is a State Fire Marshall's office, but how often do they hire and what are the requirements.

I also know that NJSP has Arson investigators, but I think you need to be hired as a trooper first.

Anyone know local/county investigators and their hiring process?
