Ridealong with agency near Arcadia CA?

I am looking for a FD that will take Explorer ride alongs at turning age 15. I live in Arcadia, and want a agency close but active and gets at least 3 - 4 calls.

Any help would be great.

I don't know of any agencies anywhere in the state that allow 15 y/o ride-alongs.

Have you tried LA County Fire? I know West Covina has a program, and so does LA City. LA City/County have really good programs, so why don't you look into them.

I doubt you want to drive out here to Riverside once a week, but we are pretty busy. Station 1 can run a good 15 calls, most of which being medical aids.

Most programs had age requirements of 14 and up. In Riverside City, you have to be 14 years old to be an explorer. Add 6 months of Training (4 times a month) and then you become ride-out certified. So, at 14.5 minimum, you can ride-out, as long as you have a liability form.

Thats pretty neat letting such a young interaction. I remember reading cadet rules at my station when I went for the app papers. And One thing that vagely stuck out to me was you have to be age 17 to ride along on the apparatus.
