This is an open thank you to the Metro Fire & Ambulance Crews that came to my wifes aid at a Horse show at Rancho Murietta last Wednesday.
My wife collapsed while we were unloading her horse with Vomiting, general body weakness, loss of equilibrium. I had the show medic call 911 and 59 was on scene in minutes. The crews were great in getting her loaded and gone in minutes for the 20 minute run to the nearest hospital.
Thanks guys for the great care you gave her.
The ER Docs were able to address the problem with drugs and fluids and she is doing much better.

I dont work for Sac Metro, but they are an awesome department. Maybe you could forward your comments to their specific station?

Better yet, write a nice thank you to the Chief of Dept. How often these days do the bosses hear how good the boys in the trenches are doing (read: how good are they making the bosses look?) Just sign your letter with your name. Leave your profession out of it, there's a better chance that "downtown" will call the Captain and issue an "attaboy.""Loyalty Above all Else. Except Honor."

Thanks for the kind words about my dept. Of course if A shift was on duty the care would have been even better.

Soory, but C shift DOES NOT rule! Remember the joke in the fire service...They are the new, inexperienced Firefighters becuase they were added on in the 70s.
But good to see Sac Mettro get some goood love in here...
