Hi everyone I have done a search and have not found what I am looking for. I am working on becoming a live-in in the county but am just looking for some general information about how things work down there. I am excited to finally take the leap of possibly getting a live-in spot in pg county.

The best source of information you could ever seek is by talking with Chief Woods - hwoods on this board. PM him with your questions direct and he will guide you to all you wanted to know and maybe some stuff you never dreamed of ever knowing.
If you don't do it RIGHT today, when will you have time to do it over? (Hall of Fame basketball player/coach John Wooden)

There's some info in this thread: http://www.thewatchdesk.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=24731
It's easy to get flamed on The Watch Desk so take what anybody says with a grain of salt. Just sort through the bs and ribbing and you may be able to get a little bit of useful information.I can't believe they actually pay me to do this!!!
One friend noted yesterday that a fire officer only carries a flashlight, sometimes prompting grumbling from firefighters who have to lug tools and hoses.
"The old saying is you never know how heavy that flashlight can become," the friend said.
