Hi all,
I am new to the forums, although not officially a firefighter yet I will be one day soon, God willing. I am/was a student at Miramar College in San Diego, Ca while in the Marines active duty. I am almost finished with an A/A in Fire Protection Technology, and looking forward to continuing my education with the end goal of landing a career as one of the Bravest. My father is the Assistant Chief of the Hamel Volunteer Fire Department in Hamel, MN. If you're in MN go to the Hamel Rodeo, the proceeds go to the fire dept. along with other civic organizations. Well I'm getting long winded so I better go.
Take Care,
Rob

Welcome aboard. Stay safe over there
If someone with multiple personalities threatens to kill himself, is it considered a hostage situation?

Welcome Rob.
I got back from Iraq last May and returned to the fire service. I've completed the same degree program you mentioned. Whats your MOS and what area are you in over there?

As far as im concerned, you are the bravest already. You,Firedog, and the rest of the military. Your parents must be exremely proud of you,and the path you have chosen. All the best!

Irag
From a nam vet. Thank you for what you are doing. Keep your head down and have a safe trip home. I know at DFW airport they have a team to meet with all the vets coming home. Glad to see you are being treated better than what we got on coming home. Hope you have a good future and a long and happy life.
