    Default Regs for extrication equipment

Is there a specific NFPA standard or an OSHA reg for extrication equipment? Trying to answer the question in my detail request and I am coming up blank. The previos years application had a box for no requirement, but his years does not have one.

There is a button for no compliance right under Voluntary compliance. Which is what HRTs are, NFPA 1936 the Standard on Powered Rescue Tool Systems, and probably could toss in NFPA 1670 the Standard on Operations and Training for Technical Rescue Incidents.

Thanks Brian, appreciate the info. Guess I have spent to much time looking at the computer screen. But nothing compared to what you and Kurt have put in.

Brian, I looked again, and only had three options, #1 Will bring into statutory compliance, #2 will bring into voluntary compliance, #3 will bring into state or local compliance. I will give the help desk a call on Monday to confirm, but thanks again for the help.

It's in the question: voluntary compliance with NFPA, OSHA, etc. Even though we're held to them as if they are laws NFPA and OSHA aren't. If the state or municipality writes a law then it will be statutory.
