a delay in submittal may have an impact of our application.....here in NJ, we were extremely impacted by flooding this past weekend - many rescues, extracations, etc. We want to include these events in our narrative as a further statement of justification. Good idea?

Would that further cap us at 5000.00 for a trailer as a transportation expense?

They used to keep a Duck at USCG Sandy Hook for storms like that, Don't know if they still have it or if there are any floating (no pun intended) around on the DOD surplus list that you could aquire.

Trailers didn't used to be capped. Tow vehicles were, but usually if you're getting a trailer for equipment storage/rehab conversion purposes they didn't limit those. Reasonable yes, limit don't remember seeing one.

The only wheeled amphibs DOD has used in decades are the LARC series of the 60s. Obsolete for many years. On very rare occasion one comes thru the surplus system. Only version I've seen were LARC 60 which are 63' long 27' wide.
