anyone heard of white oak vol.?

My moms father was a chief at White Oak volunteer Fire Department near Mckeesport back around 1945-1977 or so. I haven't been able to find anything about the department online. Is is still around or have they closed it? any information would be really helpfull.. thankz

Hi, I actually just put an application in to White Oak volunteer Fire Company #1. I'll take pictures and send them to you if you'd like. I live in McKeesport and White Oak is 10 minutes away from my home. I have to wait until Monday, May 7th for the members of the Fire Company to vote whether they want me in or not. I have 5 sponsors and 3 good references, so I think I have a shot at getting in. What's your e-mail?
