Default My hats off to the Hartford guys

I was watching the news today. Looks like the boys in Hartford did a great job under difficult circumstances early this morning. Sometimes we always can't get the desired results.

My hat is off to you guys for your efforts !!!!!

3 members of ladder 2 and a member of the tac (rescue squad) narrowly avoided becoming trapped on the second floor while attempting to make the 3rd floor in an effort to rescue the trapped occupant. Engine 9 was first due on the box that engine 15 normally would be 1st due on. E15 and other companies were out on another south end box and response was delayed.

It was a hell of a fire!!!! Almost got nailed by 15's coming from brainard rd. Me being the nosey one that i am, turned on the scanner and headed for the fire to spark out. It was quite the show of force. I wish i had my camera, awesome amount of fire off the rear.
