I graduated from SUNY Oswego back in May of '06 with a 4 year degree in Public Justice, I was originally going for a career in law enforcement but found out that i did not like the environment of law enforcement. I have been exploring the idea of firefighting/medic type work, and have been talking to a co-worker who use to be a full time paid firefighter. I think that i would enjoy this type of work due to the fact that it allows you to provide a service to the community and help people.
I would like to know how i should go about trying to get a job in this field, and where the best locations for a job are? I am open to relocating so that's not a problem.
