I know I'm running late but this happens every year. Little overview first of vehicles: 1989 FMC 1000/1000 top mount pumper, 1986 E-One Platform, 1993 Ford Ambulance used as a first responder unit (non transport), 1993 International FL80 Home Made Tanker, 1974 International High Pressure grass rig. We want to repalce the grass rig but it would also be nice to pick something up with some higher pump cap (ex:750gpm). Possibly use it as a back up pumper. Where do we classify it, we figured its a inital attack but wouldn't be the first out to all calls or a wild land and what type? Thanks in advance!!!

It's well-done in one of the other threads, but in words i understand...

Less than 1,000 gallons of water with a 750 or greater pump--pumper. It's answered correctly in one of the threads, but i've got to get some sleep.

Thanks for the link to that thread. My question is we would only like to have a 2 man cab instead of 4 man cab, but still have the a higher pump. What would we say about that?
