We have a truck that was involved in an accident in the early 90's as a result the vehicle's cab was replaced in 1996 the remainder of the drive train, fire pump, tank, ladder, etc. is 1983. Do I place the age of the unit at 1996 or the 1983 mark?

If it didn't result in retitling the pumper (a cab replacement probably wouldn't) then 1983.
