    Default A little heads up

    Hey guys i am taking my fire fighter 1 class and i was wondering we have our burns coming up shortly here (like 2-3 weeks) you guys got an advice on what to watch for or any kinda advice

    Hello gentlemen,
    Welcome to the fire service. A good rule to follow is the keep your head down, your mouth closed and LISTEN.

    Become intimate with your gear (your turnouts and SCBA). Know where the straps are for your BA and be able to find your pockets with your eyes closed.

    Stay low as the heat increases when you stand up. Take a deep breath and relax if you are in a scary situation. Above all, remain calm and take care of your fellow firefighters.
